A WOODEN HOUSE

Vintage Wood Chair

Tori’s recent Magic Mushroom House post stirred up my affection for natural-ness, and sent me searching for cozy wooden things. Now I’m coveting a forest full of wooden marvels.

I love anything made out of wood, and I could see myself living in a tree someday. If I can’t live in a tree myself, I’ll at least make sure I build the gnarliest-ever treehouse for my kids. Something like this, perhaps?

In the meantime, I’ll just build my wish list, starting with these:

Painted Lady Hand Mirrors

Wood Cut Stamps

Wooden Headboard

The following piece is very special. It’s a reclaimed wood corner light designed and built by my  friend Evan. He’s a childhood friend, and my fellow UNCC art major graduate. I always thought he was very talented, and I recently found out that he’s still designing and building amazing arts and things. Go see some of his other beautiful projects on Tumblr and his Etsy shop. You’ll be happy you did.
