After seven years, new music from my love, Fiona Apple! She debuted these songs at SXSW this year, and I’m so excited for her new album. It’s supposed to be released June 19th, and similar to her 1999 album, When the Pawn…, this one has a poem for a title:
The Idler Wheel Is Wiser Than the Driver of the Screw, and Whipping Cords Will Serve You More Than Ropes Will Ever Do.
The three songs captured at SXSW are amazing. So far, my favorite is “Every Single Night”. Bring on the poetry of painful heartbreak riddled with her signature unbalanced atmosphere! I’m so ready.
