Last night, Amber and I hustled our booties down to La Cienga for a reading of the book Marilyn: Intimate Exposures, a beautiful collection of photographs and memories of Marilyn Monroe with forewords by Jane Russell and Lindsay Lohan.
Amber was photographing the event, our husbands were filming it, and I was there to add atmosphere, I guess. It was really nice to be celebrating Marilyn Monroe in Hollywood, the town that made her famous. The gorgeous Rose McGowan was also there to read the parts of Marilyn—that was very cool. I’ve loved her since Scream. Jerry Stahl was there too, being awesome.
The event was hosted by Rare Bird Lit (the greatest book PR firm in L.A.), and took place at one of my favorite places in the world, Largo. If you live around Los Angeles or are ever visiting, and you love music and/or comedy, definitely check out what’s going on there. They have amazing shows and the nicest folks running the place.

That’s me in our Miranda Dress, coming soon to the shop. I’m also wearing the Esmerelda Bracelet. Amber wore our Sunset Belt, Common Tribes Necklace, and carried our Symphony Bag.
