Oh, Mad Men Sunday. I love you so.
I have heard a rumor that tonight’s episode focuses on my favorite character, Pete Campbell, so I decided to celebrate by posting these absolutely gorgeous illustrations by David Downton. Uh…even though none of them are of Pete.
Good old David D. He’s unbelievably talented. Just look at these! They’re perfect! He can somehow get into that 1960s illustration vein that seems to be so hard for artists to do. He’s also responsible for one of the most beautiful portraits of lovely Dita I’ve ever seen.
Anyway I hope everyone enjoys AMC’s serving of Mad Men tonight. I’m sure it will be delicious as usual.
