I’m not really the type of girl who freaks out over diamonds or expensive jewelry. The sight of a Tiffany’s does not send me into a state of lust and gasping. In fact, my own wedding ring is fairly simple and conservative—and that’s exactly the way I want it to be.
But.
I sort of lost my mind when I saw these absolutely mind-blowing new pieces from Dior. “Ball of Roses” is a collaboration with the adorable Victoire de Castellane containing twelve heart-stopping rings, each with rose designs.
Victoire de Castellane is a mad genius. These are masterpieces; simply amazing pieces of art. It literally looks like she took a handful of itty bitty diamonds and sprinkled them over her rose designs like a baker would sprinkle sugar over a cake. It’s incredible.
Besides that, I’ve never seen rings like this. Never. They are wild, imaginative, and so different from one another. They are highly original and, um…very sparkly.
The Marilyn Monroe in me is finally kicking in.
